STARTUP
Sixteen Startups Selected For 2025 Plus Eight Accelerator Phase One

The Plus Eight Accelerator has officially unveiled its 2025 Phase One cohort, welcoming 16 ambitious Western Australian startups into one of Australia’s biggest startup accelerators.
Hosted by innovation hub Spacecubed, the Plus Eight Accelerator continues to scale up, supporting more startups than ever before. This year’s cohort represents a diverse lineup of founders tackling meaningful challenges across health, education, mining, law, real estate, AI, gaming, and more.
The expansion is a strong signal of the momentum behind WA’s startup ecosystem. By backing more founders than ever, they’re providing greater access to the capital, mentorship, and networks needed to build globally competitive startups right here in WA.
The 2025 cohort was selected following an intensive bootcamp held at Bentley Technology Park, where founders pitched to mentors, alumni, and program leaders. Now in Phase One, these 16 teams will embark on an eight-week sprint of startup education, one-on-one mentorship, and guidance from Entrepreneur-in-Residence Dr. Marcus Tan, co-founder of HealthEngine.
