Cocktail to re-release in theatres soon

Fans have expressed their excitement about the re-release of the rom-com. While some are interested to watch the movie on the big screens again, others have been willing to know more about Cocktail 2. Interestingly, the movie also marked Diana’s Bollywood debut. As the supporting cast, Cocktail had Boman Irani, Dimple Kapadia and Randeep Hooda.

About Cocktail

The movie is based on Meera’s life, who has found a new friend in Veronica. She has been abandoned by her husband Kunal. However, Veronica’s boyfriend Gautam starts having a crush on Meera, which further complicates things. The movie is known for its relatable feel and the songs that still play at clubs and discos. Tumhi Ho Bandhu, Daaru Desi, Second-Hand Jawaani and Yaariyan are all-time hits.

During an exclusive interview with Filmfare, Deepika opened up about Cocktail. She said, “People have realised that this girl is not just about looking glamorous, she can act too. That makes me happy. I’m not happy just being part of a successful movie. I have to be creatively satisfied.”

The actress further added, “I should feel that this film is a success because even I have done something for it. I’m glad that Cocktail finally did that. I’ve learnt that if you believe in your choices, the results will come.”

About Cocktail 2

There have been talks about a sequel to Cocktail. While the makers haven’t announced it officially, there have been reports of Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon being the new trio. Neither has the film been announced, nor has the cast been finalised.
